So It's Monday ... Again

Started my day off with a huge salad, now I'm about to eat some collards, a turkey wrap and two (yes two) oatmeal raisin cookies.  Dinner will be a cheeseburger and baked beans.  If these aren't the strangest meal combinations .... smh at myself.

Been off of work since my latest shoulder procedure and I go back tomorrow, still on half days ... until Feb. 9th.  Hubby's stuff is in limbo at the moment, but we're working on it.  He has quite a few medical appointments lined up this month ... woooooooooooo

I'm still playing around with voice recognition software in preparation for the books in my head.  Came across my poetry (again) and I think it's trying to tell me it wants to become a book too (giggling at myself now).  I think now is the time to begin pulling things together. :o)

Christmas Time is Here ...

The holidays have become so different now.  I started this blog Just a little after Christmas and now I'm playing with the voice recognition on my tablet, hoping this can save me some steps but it's actually kind of tedious.  Once I get the hang of it I'm sure it will be much better.

I enjoyed the time I got to spend with my friends and family over the holidays and of course it ended much too soon.  I wish I could live those days over and over, but I'll just live with the memories.  I got the chance to spend a little time with some of my more seasoned friends.  This always reminds me that time really doesn't stop for any of us and that people are getting older.  I have this funny habit of not allowing (in my mind) people to age.  Whatever my favorite memory-age of you is ... that's where you stay.  Sometimes it causes sadness for me when reality finally hits.
